In his experimental and also humorous work titled Color Exposition, the artist is playing with visibility and non-visibility. He constantly paints over his double portrait and thus hides himself away from the spectator. For a while we can only see the monochrome screen, which looks like a minimalist painting. Then suddenly, the artist “erases” the painted layer and shows himself again. The repetition gives the video work a special monotonous rhythm while Kerekes constantly disappears, reappears and melts together with the material.
